I'm afraid that when I become a police officer I won't do as good a job
as I want to do...that I'll somehow lose faith in myself because I'll
realize that I can't make a difference in people's lives.
I'm afraid that I'll remain a slave to my current job...even AFTER I
have a diploma...just out of pure fear of change.
What if I'm wrong about what I'm supposed to be doing with my life?
What if, when I reach that Fork in the Road, I unknowingly choose the
wrong direction?
I have some thinking to do.

on that note, I believe that we all have some thinking to do!!! I have some of those same fears!
Fear is as natural as success and failure, but you'll never accomplish anything unless you step out on faith and go for it. As my coach in college used to tell me "Don't 'try' to do anything because to try is to fail. Either you 'DO' or you 'DO NOT'!"

Great blog... I'm glad I came across it... If you maintain you integrity and your sense of purpose, you will never lose you passion or you way... I always feel like I may be less of a teacher each year, but I find that I just get better and more convicted with age.
Yo come on man shake it off. So listen. Fear is nothing more than false evidence that appears to be real...just a self imposed prison that you have to malke sure doesn't hold you hostage. Its aiight to be a little fearful, but shake it off. Its hard to shake it at first but the more you do it the easier it becomes.
"There is nothing to fear , but fear itself." Brothaman if you plan on being a officer of peace then you had better get your bearings together; if you made the decision to become a policeman then right there the fear had been casted aside and you know in your heart you will be the best you can be and then some.
Man I say you never know until you try. Everything will work itself out. Put your mind to it and you shall prevail. Always venture into things with a possitive attitude
and I'm out

When you are thinking about everything remove fear please...keep us posted
Hey. Life can be overwhelming, and there are times when we're not sure what to do in life. Just take life one day at a time, and evaluate tne pros and cons of your decision, but know that if you go with the right intentions, you will be blessed,
